ABOUT
What is "Drip Tape"? It is a type of thin walled dripperline used in drip irrigation. Drip Tape, or sometimes called "Drip Irrigation Hose", is made of polyethylene (PE) and is lay-flat winding in reel containing 1000m or more. The wall thickness is typically 0.2mm or more. The drip tapes are commonly used for surface or subsurface drip irrigation systems in high value crops such as sugar cane, tapioca, corn, vegetables and fruits. Water exits the tape through emitters or drippers. Typical emitter spacing ranges from 20 - 30 cm or more, diameters are 16 mm with flow rate 2.9 litres per hour.
The main purpose of using drip tape is to watering plants in the most efficient way. In the traditional way of watering plants, the large amount of water is usually wasted by just going through soil without absorbing by plants. The problem will be more serious in the drought area of the world where water is often scarce and becomes more and more important resource every year.
Drip hose uses cutting-edge agricultural technology by developing the labyrinth emitter (or "dripper") attached inline along the hose length. The emitter will dump down the water pressure in the main hose and slowly feed the water on the plant drop by drop. This is the most efficient way of using water and can help save a lot of expenses. The more expense you save, the more profit you make. Someone has already been saving money, why don't you start saving some!!!
